Junior Youth

The Camping and Caravanning Club Junior Youth Section

The junior youth section (CCJ) is for children aged 8 to 11 years old. 

Across the year we offer numerous games and activities, child led, based on your interests but will include crafts, team building, sports and teaching you life long skills to prepare you for moving up into the youth section on your 12th birthday.
Some examples of previous activities included building bird boxes, pond dipping, movies and mocktails and treasure hunting.

The CCJ are also offered the opportunity to learn skills and sit the CCJ test. We will offer training sessions throughout the year in subjects including first aid, map reading, countryside code, tent pitching etc. This is all learnt through fun games and activities.

To join the CCJ we have a couple of forms for parents to fill in and return to us, that’s it, then the fun can begin!
